I managed to develop this game in less than a week by using my own premade sprite packs and recycling background images from my older games. I'd pants'ed the story too - it was mostly code skeletons which I later filled with relevant scenarios and added/subtracted points to/from.
"Himbleton" wasn't intended to refer to an actual place - I'd come up with the name of the game when I thought of the word, "himbo". I only Googled the word after starting the artwork and script and found out it was an actual place... but it was too much work to change.
This game's set in fantasy England with Victorian-inspired fashion. Just ignore the real-world details and you'll be fine. 😅
