When I found out about the Virtual Pet Jam, I figured I'd try my hand at making a simple, fuss-free virtual pet simulation using the Ren'py engine.

It was always in my mind to use the stock characters and backgrounds I had drawn and edited earlier. Of course, I hadn't drawn any animals yet, so off I went and fired up Medibang and Photoshop! Well, mostly Medibang, since I like drawing on it like the incurable weeb I am. ✨

Anyway, although I was rushing to get this finished, I did have fun! My favorite pet has got to be the baby Frost Serpent. I did enjoy making them round and cuddly!
